Meet Maria Bullivant

I’m a counsellor, clinical therapist and financial counsellor, and I believe that sometimes having someone who truly listens can make all the difference.

I offer a warm, safe and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, talk openly and feel genuinely heard and understood.

I work with individuals, couples and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties and life transitions, supporting emotional growth, clarity, strength and positive change.

I understand that reaching out for support can be difficult. You may not know exactly what you need or where to begin—and that’s okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you reach out.

I have experience supporting individuals, couples, children, teenagers and families through a range of emotional, relational and life challenges.

You don’t have to face it alone. I’m here to listen, understand and walk alongside you, right where you are.

My Approach & Values

I see therapy as a journey we take together—one where you are met with kindness, respect and without judgment. My role is to create a safe and supportive space where you can talk openly about what is on your mind and in your heart, at a pace that feels right for you.

I’m here to listen, support and help you gain new insights, understand yourself more deeply and find practical ways forward.

Everyone’s story is unique, which is why I tailor my approach to your individual needs and circumstances. Healing is not always straightforward, and that’s okay. I will respect your journey and offer patience, understanding and encouragement every step of the way.

My Experience

Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting people through many different stages and circumstances in life. My experience includes working with individuals, couples, children, teenagers and families, each with their own story and needs.

I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship and family difficulties, life transitions and financial stress. I also support clients to improve communication, work through conflict and develop greater understanding of themselves and their relationships.

I have experience supporting clients through CTP insurance claims, providing counselling during times of recovery, adjustment and significant life change.

I value confidentiality, trust and genuine connection, and I believe counselling should focus on meaningful progress and supporting each person with the tools they need to move forward
